Deeply emotional. Talking and in this case singing about the ones affected by this insanity, this cruelty, remind us that we need to support them, we need to care. The piano seems to be crying. Jherek Bischoff & Amanda Palmer, great association.
You can never do wrong with a new Amanda Palmer track and the less so, if the proceedings go to a good cause as in this case (to help refugees)... Good deeds aside, it's a hauntingly beautiful song!

My guitarist/synthist & horn arranger/conductor Chad Raines just put out an album. If you've seen us on tour, you know this: The sweet sounds of THE SIMPLE PLEASURE will make you dance your ass off!! Amanda Palmer
Kim and I go way back. She's played shows with me all over the world, and I was on a 7" record she Kickstarter'd a few years ago. Her new album is an electro-space-pop love letter to the cosmos. Amanda Palmer

Wonderful! Great to listen to any time/any mood but especially late at night when all is quiet and you're left to peacefully reflect on life. Optimist, the live version, is my favourite song of all time and Hello Night is full of wonder/reminds me of my Love.

Bought as it truly tore me apart, the phrase "I need this in my life" doesn't cut it. A masterpiece, and a NON-STOP album listen (No track skipping required). My own quick quip for this album?
"Beautifully devastatingly Attention-Grabbing"
